How do we choose our projects

All our projects rank among the most impactful ways to fight climate change worldwide. Our offsetting projects meet the highest international quality standards for certified carbon offsetting and are verified through the leading voluvntary carbon market standard such as  VERRA,  The Gold Standard  and the UN’s CDM. To be registered by these standards, each project has gone through a rigorous verification process and has been subject to public comments and peer review before being registered.

The Projects have been grouped based on their benefits to their local communities that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. These range from combating poverty, protecting endangered species, empowering female entrepreneurship, or advancing access to health care and education.

CHOOSING OUR PROJECTS

Our projects are chosen from the most recognized international carbon registries on the voluntary carbon marketplace.

To be registered by these standards, each project has gone through a rigorous verification process and has been subject to public comments and peer review before being registered.

All projects are subject to annual reporting and independent 3rd party verification by approved verification bodies as set out by the respective standards which ensures transparency and reasonable accuracy of the project’s performance.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

The Sustainable Development Goals or SDG’s are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all".

The SDGs were set up in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.

Each of the projects that are selected by the app must as a minimum criteria support at least 3 of the SDG’s.

However many project support more !!
